Cork City Council's Christmas festival opens with a lights parade and fills the city centre with a Christmas market in Bishop Lucey Park, a 32-metre Ferris wheel and carousel, and events at Counting House Plaza. It's a good place to meet friends for mulled wine and street food after work.
