Babel Academy of English is an independent, privately owned school that opened in Dublin in 2017. It teaches adults from beginner to advanced level in the city centre, a few minutes' walk from O'Connell Bridge and Temple Bar, and its General English and IELTS programmes hold places on the government's ILEP register.
Classes are capped at 16 students and follow the CEFR framework. Every six weeks a student sits a one-to-one review of their progress. A weekly social programme takes them around Dublin and Ireland, and a student app holds their materials, their attendance and their study plan in one place.
