Atlantic School of English & Active Leisure is a small, year-round school in the village of Schull, on the Mizen Peninsula in West Cork. It has taught here since 1999, and keeps its adult centre, its junior school and its children's camp within a short walk of one another. Class sizes are held down on purpose.
For students who stay a full academic year, it runs 25-week exam preparation programmes for Cambridge First, Cambridge Advanced and IELTS, at either 15 or 25 hours a week. The longer option fills the afternoons with supervised work and a weekly cultural visit. Students live with host families in the village.
